As a social community catalyst, I strive to connect empowerment strategies to all communities. My nationally-recognized academic and professional career has been characterized by learning how to challenge civic engagement and democratic practices within the community planning industry, academia, and grass-roots organization efforts. Most importantly, how citizens and decision-makers take a collaborative-ownership approach towards decision-making processes that encourages relationship and capacity-building to bring relevant solutions for all.
Nearly a decade supporting small to large scale urban, rural to neighborhood planning efforts within local, regional, and state and non-profit sectors focused on community development, transit and transportation policy and planning. Bi-vocation focused in non-profit, education, and faith-based ministries primarily focused in children and youth development, building community partnerships and civic engagement activities designed to maximize positive social impact within urban and regional environments.
As a National Charrette Institute certificate holder, I look forward to assisting your office and community with bringing transformational approaches that will bring maximum results for developing projects, policies, or planning documents that reflects the vision and goals desired by all.
